Kakushigoto Theatrical Edition Funimation The Nerdy Basement

Funimation To Stream “Kakushigoto: Theatrical Edition” Starting August 6th!

The theatrical cut of “Kakushigoto” is heading to Funimation and can be streamed starting August 6th. Whether you’ve seen the original series or not, this is most certainly the best time to jump into the series with this theatrical recut of the anime series. The theatrical edition recaps the events of the anime series and will also include all-new footage. So if you haven’t watched the series before and are looking to experience a new slice of life anime series, Funimation has you more than covered.

Kakushigoto is written and illustrated by mangaka Koji Kumeta and was published in 2015-2020, totaling 12 complete volumes. The anime was released last year in 2020 and aired a total of 12 episodes. The series follows Kakushi Goto an ecchi manga artist who tries to hide his profession from his daughter Hime. What ensues is a ton of comedic hijinks in an emotional adventure story that has a lot of heart.
