Virtual Crunchyroll Expo: ‘So I’m A Spider, So What?’ Okina Baba (Interview)

Adding to our list of exciting interviews coming out of Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2020, we had a very brief interview with ‘So I’m a Spider, So What?’ creator Okina Baba.

While the premiere of Okina Baba’s ‘So I’m a Spider, So What?’ anime series is still months away. We asked Okina Baba what inspired the idea behind his story and if he’s excited about fans who have never come across his story before, to take in this story for the very first time!

What inspired the story behind “So I’m a Spider, So What?

Well, on a Japanese novel site called “Become a Novelist”(小説家になろう), stories where characters are reborn in another world were popular. It started with the simple thought of riding that wave.

The anime adaptation for the manga/light novel is set to release in January, are you excited for fans haven’t read your story to embark on this journey for the very first time?(Added by Okina Baba’s team: a message for those fans.)

First off, I would like to thank everyone that watches the anime. And also that I hope they enjoy it.
