Marvel Comics Inferno #1 The Nerdy Basement

MUTANTKIND FACES ITS FIERY DESTINY IN THE ALL-NEW INFERNO TRAILER!

Jonathan Hickman’s INFERNO #1 arrives on September 29

On September 29, the X-Men’s world will go up in flames in INFERNO #1! Crafted by visionary writer Jonathan Hickman, this four-issue limited series will serve as the climactic finale of Hickman’s bold X-Men era that began with 2019’s transformative House of X and Powers of X. Hickman will team up with a different superstar artist on each giant-sized issue, starting with Valerio Schiti, known for his acclaimed work on titles such as S.W.O.R.D. and Empyre.

A high-stakes mutant drama, INFERNO will provide the startling payoff to long-running plotlines including Mystique’s quest to be reunited with Destiny, startling shakeups to the Quiet Council, and the looming threat of Nimrod. Alliances will be broken, secrets will be revealed, and the once-bright future of mutantkind will be endangered like never before. Fans can get their first look at this revelatory saga in the all-new INFERNO trailer, featuring never-before-seen artwork.

“I’m very excited that we’re finally getting to share with everyone the follow-up to House of X/Powers of X,” Hickman said. “The story is 160 pages over four issues drawn exquisitely by Valerio Schiti, R.B. Silva, and Stefano Caselli. I cannot wait for people to read it.”

A day of reckoning is upon mutantkind. Be there for this game-changing story when INFERNO #1 hits stands on September 29!
