The time has finally come! Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 3 is officially here after much anticipation and a few delays. Fans can now jump in and splash down, ride sharks and slay as the King of Atlantis, Aquaman!
Below, we have details, images and both trailers for all the new things coming to Fortnite. To kick things off, check out the all-new map.
After The Device event in which Midas overtook and blew up The Agency in an attempt to break the storm. As the storm breaks, the island floods and a new tidal wave-like storm was formed.
The place once known as The Agency is now The Authority. Surrounded by more water than they ever was before, players can know zip line in and out the new location in order to fight enemy players and gain new loot.
Waterproof:
Survive more than just the Storm in the aftermath of its revenge. As the Island adapts to its flooded way of life, stay afloat and take on new challenges.
Reel ‘Em In:
Sharks may be item-hungry and dangerous, but they also make for fun transportation. Latch onto one with a Fishing Rod to ride, steer, and jump across the waters.
New Enemies:
Defend yourself from new Marauders as they crash down onto the Island and challenge your survival.
Build-a-Brella:
Make a distinctive splash. Buy the Battle Pass, level up, and complete Challenges to build your very own custom Umbrella to show off when you drop in!
Below the Surface:
As time goes on and water recedes, even more locations will be uncovered. And as the roadways become more open, you’ll discover new ways to get around…
As seen in the trailer above, along with a sleigh of awesome new loot. Jason Momoa’s version of Aquaman is now an unlockable skin. Just like Deadpool, there will be a set of specific challenges to complete in order to earn his iconic costume, as well as a couple of skins featuring his out of costume look from the film.
The water themed season is a great way to cool fans off while still housed during the current pandemic. Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 3 is now live for all players across all platform!
