Spider-Man

Spider-Man is Heading to Marvel’s Avengers Exclusively on Playstation

Crystal Dynamics has announced that Spider-Man will be swinging in to save the day in Marvel’s Avengers in 2021

Spider-Man’s success over the last four years has been unprecedented. From joining the MCU in 2016 with Captain America: Civil War which webbed out not one, but two highly successful solo films, with the added inclusion in two of Marvel’s biggest blockbusters in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, to Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man which arrived in 2018 exclusively on the Playstation 4.

Spider-Man hasn’t shied away from success and it’s taken an entire village to put Spider-Man on the forefront once again. Crystal Dynamics, in partnership with Square Enix, is set to launch Marvel’s Avengers in September. With two Avengers War Table livestreams under their belt, with the most recent one revealing the inclusion of Clint Barton aka Hawkeye, with an aesthetically appealing look based on the Hawkeye seen in Matt Fraction and David Aja’s renowned comic book run.

Crystal Dynamics is bringing in yet another renowned superhero to their upcoming game and if you haven’t gotten the gist of it already, its none other than Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. This version of Spider-Man will be unique to Crystal Dynamics’ version of the game which will most definitely separate it from Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man. Although comparisons will be inevitable, Crystal Dynamics is keen on making their version of Spider-Man a memorable one.

Although Spider-Man is a long’s way away, (arriving early 2021). The web-slinging hero will be a Playstation exclusive. Yes, that means that both Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 players will be able to get their hands on the friendly neighborhood hero. Additionally, Spider-Man will be made available at no additional cost to players. This is more than an incentive to get players to buy the base version of the game in order to play as Spider-Man.

Spider-Man

It is not yet clear whether or not Spider-Man will have an entire solo arc in the game just like Hawkeye will. We are expecting more details on Spider-Man’s arrival later this year, most likely post base game release. We’ll keep you all as updated as possible as more news and details become available.
