The Keanu Reeves Era continues as the John Wick star will star in Netflix’s BRZRKR live-action and anime series adaptations
Keanu Reeves will officially star in Netflix’s upcoming live-action and anime series adaptations of his hit Boom! Studios comic book series BRZRKR. Netflix has officially acquired the rights to the film and the anime series and will have Keanu Reeves portray his original character both in live-action and in animation.
BRZRKR is based on the original comic book written by Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt. The series is illustrated by Marvel artist Ron Garney with colors by Bill Crabtree, letters by Clem Robins, and character designs and cover art by Rafael Grampá.
BRZRKR is about an immortal warrior’s 80,000-year fight throughout the ages. The series’s character is known as ‘B’ a half-mortal and half-god being who is cursed and compelled to strong violence which comes to a great cost of his sanity. After wandering the earth for centuries, B finds refuge in working for the U.S. government to fight battles that are far too violent and far too dangerous for the average man. In exchange for working for the government, B will be granted the truth about his endless existence and how to end it.
The upcoming Netflix Original Film and anime series will look to expand the BRZRKR universe by exploring different elements of the BRZRKR story.
