The week-long pop-up experience takes place in Washington Heights, the heart of the Dominican diaspora on 421 W 202nd Street (10th Ave) from July 30th – August 6th from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm ET.

The ‘House of Bachata’ will transport you to a space that celebrates Dominican culture and the heart and soul of that Dominican culture which lies in its most beloved musical genre, bachata. ‘House of Bachata’ will feature iconic fixtures such as bodegas, barbershops, and salons. Things most Dominican men and women are known for (other than our amazing food, of course).

Programming and special events throughout the week will include an Opening Night VIP reception, Bachata dance lessons, screenings for the Romeo Santos: King of Bachata documentary, children’s instrument classes, and many more things.
