CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS: BRANDON ROUTH CONFIRMED TO PLAY ‘KINGDOM COME’ SUPERMAN

Crisis on Infinite Earths is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious crossovers of all time. The yearly Arrowverse crossovers have gotten bigger and bigger each and every year. Last year we got the introduction of Batwoman which led to a spin-off solo series starring Ruby Rose.

Earlier this weekend we got news that Brandon Routh would be reprising his role as Ray Palmer/The Atom and will also be donning the Superman costume once again. The last time Routh donned the mantle of Superman was in the Bryan Singer directed film Superman Returns (2006).

Shorty after that announcement Umberto Gonzalez of The Wrap took to Twitter to say that sources with knowledge were reporting that Routh would suit up as Kingdom Come Superman from Earth 22.

DiscussingFilm has now revealed directly from SDCC has Brandon Routh is now officially confirmed to be portraying Kingdom Come Superman in the Crisis on Infinite Earth crossover event.

This will be a historic moment for both Routh and Superman as Brandon Routh will be the only actor to portray two different versions of Superman, along with being the first actor to portray Kingdom Come Superman in live-action form.
