Powerpuff Girls Live-Action Pilot Casts Nicholas Podany as Mojo Jojo

The CW casts Nicholas Podany as Mojo Jojo in the upcoming Powerpuff Girls live-action pilot

The CW’s live-action Powerpuff Girls pilot has cast its first major villain in Mojo Jojo who will be portrayed by Nicholas Podany. Podany will portray an older version of Mojo Jojo who is constantly finding himself in personal odd with his sweetness and rage. As a kid, the nerdy, power-hungry, insecure JoJo was obsessed with The Powerpuff Girls, despite his father’s grudge against them.

In the original animated series, Mojo Jojo was The Powerpuff Girls’ biggest villains and frequently found themselves coming to blows with the super genius monkey as they thwarted his evil plans. Based on the description of the character it seems like Podany will sport a more humanized look as opposed to his father’s more traditional look from the animated series.
