Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness won’t arrive until Summer 2021 but if this new rumor is said to be true, then it won’t be too long before the Doctor checks in once again.
According to this new rumor report by Charles Murphy Benedict Cumberbatch is set to appear on the set of WandaVision during its final week of filming. This all lines up with the long list of previous reports and rumors, most notably the rumor that Doctor Strange 2 villain, Nightmare, will also be the big bad of WandaVision. Not only that but as confirmed by Marvel CCO Kevin Feige, WandaVision will tie-in directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as well as Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, will be starring alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in the upcoming sequel.
WandaVision is shaping up to be one of the most important Marvel Disney+ series currently in development. A series that is poised to affect the entirety of Phase 4 of the MCU, we can expect heavy ramifications from Wanda altering reality to her perfect vision.
